Case Study No. 3
Case Study #2: A 65-Year-Old Woman
In today's article, we will look at a case study of a 65-year-old woman who experienced significant health improvements through the practice of earthing.
Let's see how grounding affected this patient's health.
Introduction to the case study
A 65-year-old woman presented with multiple complaints, including chronic bilateral thigh pain that was worse on the right side, hip pain, right knee pain, bilateral ankle and foot pain, and swelling that was worse on the left side. She also had insomnia, restless sleep, daytime sleepiness, leg pain that interfered with sleep, and stiffness and pain upon awakening. Traditional pharmacological treatments were yielding poor results, prompting her to seek alternatives.
Introduction of grounding and Electron Transfer Technology (ETT)
The patient was enrolled in a randomized, controlled clinical trial using electron transfer technology (ETT), or simply grounding. On April 11, 2005, the patient began using the ETT sleep system, and her progress was monitored every 48 hours for 5 days. Monitoring was performed using high-resolution infrared medical imaging and standard clinical outcome measures, such as the Quadruple Visual Analog Pain and Sleep Scale.
Results and observations
After just 4 nights on the ETT sleep system, the patient reported significant improvement in her health:
- Pain Reduction: The patient noticed a dramatic reduction in pain after just a few nights of using ETT. Within a few days, she reported almost complete relief of pain in both thighs and hips.
- Reduction in inflammation: Thermographic images showed a significant reduction in inflammation in the painful areas, confirming the patient's subjective feelings.
- Improved sleep quality: Thanks to earthing, the patient experienced improved sleep quality, which reduced daytime fatigue and improved overall quality of life.
- Improved mobility: Reduction in pain and inflammation helped improve the patient's mobility, allowing her to live a more active life without experiencing pain during daily activities.
Conclusions
A case study of a 65-year-old woman shows how grounding with electron transfer technology (ETT) can significantly improve health and quality of life, especially for people suffering from chronic pain and inflammation. Grounding supports the body's natural healing processes, improves circulation, reduces inflammation and improves sleep. For those new to grounding, it can be an effective and natural method to support health.
